From the stump of old things
Springs a new growth
Stronger, greener, healthier
With flexibility rooted in love
“We are pursued (persecuted and hard driven), but not deserted [to stand alone]; we are struck down to the ground, but never struck out and destroyed;”
2 Corinthians 4:9 AMPC
““If you grow a healthy tree, you’ll pick healthy fruit. If you grow a diseased tree, you’ll pick worm-eaten fruit. The fruit tells you about the tree.”
Matthew 12:33 MSG
Today I declare a day of new, fresh growth - from the place that seems destroyed, from the stump that seems ’done’ - I pray that a new thing will spring forth!
May the watering of the Word and patience developed by trust cause what was once ‘good but cut off’ become something ’better and fruitful’!
“But leave the stump with its roots in the ground.”
Daniel 4:15 TPT
“at the scent of water it will bud and bring forth boughs like a new plant.”
Job 14:9a JUB
